I have not eaten here in like three years or more. Was not a fan before,but now. Love the place. Ownership had changed along with cooks. Now it is a husband and wife team that are adding some healthy choices to menue as well as traditional fair as well. Good quality food at a good price.

The Avocado Curry and Panang Curry are delicious. Portions are large enough to split with another person. Staff is friendly and personable. Very mellow place.

For ten years I’ve eaten here - but no more. When people said it changed and went downhill, I held out. But after today’s meal I can’t deny it anymore. Something’s gone awry, the quality has gone way down. I would recommend they either reevaluate how they cook food or that everyone goes somewhere else. It’s not the worst I’ve ever had, but no where near the best.

Unfortunately after changing managers I had to change a once excellent review. Thai Time Bistro in Ocean Beach does not have consistency among chefs. Before the old chef took over as manager you could order any dish without fish sauce. Now you can only get those dishes without fish sauce when she is there. So vegan options are very limited. They also don't tell you there is fish sauce in things when you order a vegetarian option. You must inquire each visit, and ask if you can get it without the fish sauce. The manager told me any of the chefs can prepare the dish without fish sauce. But I have been told repeatedly by other wait staff that getting items without fish sauce is not an option for the chef that is cooking. I have spoken to them multiple times telling them cohesion is really important. But they basically told me that they are not catering to vegetarians or vegans. So I figured a shout out was important. I won't be eating there anymore. Unfortunately there isn't another Thai place in walking distance :(
